The Jingle Bell BASH (Benefitting Arts, Science and History) is an annual fundraising event held most years on the first Monday in December unless Thanksgiving is the week prior resulting in a second Monday in December date. Each $135 ticket includes a chance to win a total of $12,500 in cash prizes, participation in raffles, access to an online auction and discounts/offers from area caterers and restaurants.
First place prize, $10,000!
Each year area caterers and restauranteurs are invited to help host our guests for the evening by bringing a “specialty dish” the crowd can enjoy while hoping not to hear their number called until the very last ticket is drawn. Each $135 ticket admits two people and the event is always well attended, with over 500 last year.
The United Arts Council nets approximately $20,000 from the event which helps with our operating costs and grants to the community. Proceeds from our Silent Auction go to area artists for innovative new projects.
