GUIDELINES:
1. The Community Cultural Grant promotes cultural activities throughout Catawba County enabling municipalities and non-profit organizations to provide cultural programs at community and heritage festivals and events for their respective communities.
2. Special priority is given to the municipalities that fund Arts Culture Catawba, organizations representing diversity, events that feature artists of diverse heritage, organizations that target special populations groups and events that will potentially reach large segments of Catawba County residents.
3. The maximum grant for any project will be $1,500.
4. The events/projects must offer free admission to the general public.
5. The funds must be granted for events that take place in Catawba County.
6. Applicants should apply at least 90 days prior to their event/project.
7. Applicants may apply once per year and cannot apply more than three years consecutively for the same project.
8. If funding is sought for an existing program, it must be clearly an expansion or innovation.
9. No organization receiving operating grants from Arts Culture Catawba shall be eligible to apply.
10. Arts Culture Catawba should be recognized in all publicity and printed materials for the event for which funds are granted.
